Motorisation for Blinds

Motorisation has come a long way in the last 5 years and leading the charge has been Somfy.

Virtually all of our products can now be motorised and controlled wirelessly. In some cases we do not even need to provide a mains power supply!

Blinds can be battery operated using ultra thin batteries that last up to 5 years, some external Velux blinds have batteries that are solar charged. We can provide mains voltage or low (24volt) systems dependant on your requirements.

New radio control systems mean that one handset can theoretically control up over 600 blinds in 24 separate channels. Wireless wind, rain & sun sensors are also available which minimises the distruption and does not spoil the view with wires running here there and everywhere.
